Peter Crispin

I’m a corruption blogger, with an interest in how corruption impacts society.

About

I am Peter Crispin. I majored in Sociology at Union College in Schenectady, New York. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on English football hooliganism and the impact on reducing football/soccer-related violence in and outside the grounds. I lived and worked for five years in Washington, D.C., first as an intern for D.C. United major league soccer team, then as a fan ambassador for the Nationals major league baseball team, and then as a contractor for the Department of Homeland Security.

I completed my master’s degree in Global Studies at the University of Sussex in England, focusing on Conflict, Security, and Development in 2020. I also did an internship with John Snow, Inc., an international public health organization, where I supported a health project in Zambia.

I am seeking a career in terrorism, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering, political risk and its effect on development, and geopolitical insecurity.

Please get in touch with me if you want to talk about my work and writing in these areas. Thank you.
